Fascia Treatments

Fascia is the connective tissue that surrounds and runs through muscles, joints, nerves, organs and blood vessels. If the mobility of fascia becomes restricted, there could be bad health consequences.

In the normal healthy state, fascia is relaxed and wavy in configuration. It has the ability to stretch and move without restriction. When one experiences physical trauma, emotional trauma, scarring, a fall, car accident, whiplash, surgery, or inflammation, fascia loses its flexibility. Fascia becomes tight, restricted, and a source of tension to the rest of the body. Fascia restrictions can cause all kinds of symptoms like pain, headaches or restricted motion. Fascia restrictions affect our flexibility and stability and are very often a contributing factor to many health problems.

Fascia is a glycoprotein or sugar protein. When the body is out of balance, those sugar proteins have a tendency to break down, stick together and adhere. Theses adhesions are what create scar tissue in the body. Scar tissue limits range of motion and slows down your bodies’ ability to heal.

Therapeutic Massage Therapy Benefits Your Health and Chiropractic Care

The spine is the central support structure which protects the central nervous system. During your adjustment, a/k/a chiropractic alignment, Dr. Lynch moves your bones and joints back into their proper alignment.

Muscles support the spine and are attached to bone. When muscles get tight, they pull on the attached bone which can pull the bones back out of alignment. Massage therapy helps to stabilize the spine, creating greater blood circulation, warming up the soft tissues, and releasing muscle tension in an area. Massage therapy can help your chiropractic adjustments last longer.

Please remember, at Lynch Chiropractic and Chronic Pain Solutions all chiropractic alignments are delivered without any twisting, popping or cracking.  Most Patients think the alignments feel great and that they feel better after receiving one.
